About me

I’m Sarah.

I’m a writer, feminist, social justice activist, and poet.

I write about living with arthritis, politics, feminist issues, and issues regarding social welfare.

'Skeletal Mosaic' is a collection of poems about these things.

About ‘Writehanded’

My Writehanded banner was created for me by my dear friend Jem Yoshioka.

I’ve been using the pseudonym Writehandedgirl for some time. It was a silly and impulsive choice but it’s come to mean a lot to me. The two icons in my banner are a quill pen, for obvious reasons, and a spoon.

The spoon relates to chronic illness. Spoon Theory is a terminology and a concept used by people who are ill to explain and communicate that experience to others. Here’s some more things I wrote about it.

You can email me at [email protected]. Due to my health and the number of messages I receive, I find it difficult to keep up with emails so please be aware you may not get a reply.

The best way to contact me is to find me on Twitter – @_writehanded_
